Fashion Premiere Show

I was challenged along with my classmates to create an invitation for a Fashion Premiere Show at the Art Institute of Atlanta to showcase the fashion students’ final lines. The client spoke about a “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift” theme so incorporating movement into the type as well as a modern tokyo style was a must. Deconstructive type was  chosen to portray the movement needed for the  invitation’s typography. Not only did I want the typography to portray movement, but the layout as well. Below, you can see the final invitation: the client chose my very own design. Then my classmate, Edwin Villalba, designed the collateral pieces with my typography.
